Warranty Policy
Last updated: 12-01-2026
This Warranty Policy governs post-purchase service for devices and electronics bought from PlayLoot.
1. Warranty Coverage
- All eligible devices sold by PlayLoot come with a limited warranty (default) ranging from 1 to 6 months. The specific warranty duration depends on the product and is clearly listed on the product page.
- Warranty starts from the date of delivery.
2. What Is Covered
The warranty covers functional hardware defects, including:
- Device not powering on
- Boot or startup failures
- Display output, HDMI, or touchscreen issues
- Overheating due to internal hardware failure
3. What Is Not Covered
The warranty does not cover:
- Physical or cosmetic damage after delivery
- Customer's induced damages such as short circuits, damages due to water or voltage fluctuations, etc.
- Software issues, bans, or account problems
- Devices repaired or opened by third parties
- Accessories, cables, watch straps, or controllers (unless stated)
4. Warranty Claim Process
- Issues must be reported within the 1-month warranty period (or within the extended warranty period)
- Gaming Controller Stick Drift: Stick Drift issues will only be entertained if reported within 7 days from the date of delivery, as this issue can be induced later due to rough usage of the controller.
- Overheating / Thermal Compound Displacement: Overheating issues caused by thermal compound displacement or spillage on the motherboard will only be covered under warranty if reported within 3 days of delivery. After this period, such issues will be considered customer-induced, as they can arise due to physical mishandling of the device (e.g., drops, tilts, or rough handling). To claim, contact us within 3 days of delivery with a video demonstrating the overheating issue.
- Buyer may be required to provide photos or videos
- Device may need to be shipped back for inspection
5. Warranty Resolution
Based on inspection, PlayLoot may:
- Repair the device, or
- Replace it with an equivalent unit, or
- Issue a partial or full refund
The resolution method is at PlayLoot’s sole discretion.
6. Shipping for Warranty Claims
- If the issue is covered under warranty, PlayLoot will bear shipping costs.
- If the issue is not covered, shipping costs may be charged to the buyer.
7. Warranty Void Conditions
Warranty will be void if:
- Warranty seal is tampered
- Device is opened or repaired externally
- Serial number is altered or mismatched
8. Policy Linkage
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed as per the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
9. Packaging & Box
- We do not guarantee the original box for the device, though we ensure 100% secure packaging. It is Playloot's liability to ensure the product gets delivered to the customer in perfect shape.
